Why do we need sleep
A Newborn needs eight hours in the day time which is normally three naps.
At night they need eight and a half hours.
A toddler is recommended to have ten to fourteen hours throughout day and night.
A school person needs nine to twelve hours sleep throughout the night.
Teenages need nine and a half hours sleep but now oneirologists say they
need nine and a quarter hours sleep
Adults need around eight hours sleep but that doesn’t normally happen because they
drink coffee and energy drinks that contains caffeine.
