I have been reading a book called hatchet for our literacy novel study in a small group.
It is about a 13 year old boy who gets stranded on a island and is challenged to make and find food and equipment to keep himself alive.
I was a pupil at Rāwhiti School and this blog is where I shared my learning. This blog has been archived, no further content will be uploaded or added. You are welcome to continue viewing posts, however commenting has been disabled.

Hi Kirsten. Hatchet is one of my all time favourite books - you picked a good one!
ReplyDeleteBrians plane crashed into a lake right? Did he crash into a lake on an island? Or a lake in the north Canadian wilderness? (Wilderness meaning ‘bush’ for us kiwis)
Yes he crashed into the north canadian wilderness and the plane sunk into the lake.
